The Most Anticipated Games of 2014

Titanfall

We may be in February now, but we still have ten months of top gaming action to come. So, what games can be expect from 2014? Let’s take a little look at some of the highlights.

Titanfall

This game, a Microsoft exclusive, will be hitting the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC fairly soon. It is the first game from Respawn Entertainment and this FPS games is really shaping up to be something quite fantastic. Reports at the moment suggest that it is going to be very similar to the way in which Halo plays out. Think along the lines of fast paced action. I really can’t wait to dive into the online game. Sadly, there is no single player game here. Instead it is 6v6 online with 48 AI characters in the battlefield. It is shaping up to be epic.

Tropico 5

I know most of you don’t care about Tropico 5. However, it is my list, and I am sticking it here. I absolutely love the Tropico series of games. The idea of the game is that you are a ruthless dictator of a tropical island. You are basically North Korea, just a tad meaner. This awesome strategy game will be heading to both the Xbox 360 and PC in April.

Halo (Untitled Game)

OK, there is no guarantee that Halo is going to hit the Xbox One this year. However, based on current reports, it is highly likely. Keep an eye out for it. I bet they are going to sell a good amount of copies of this game!

The Witness

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely loved Braid. This indie game is the follow up to it. This is going to be a very laid-back puzzle game set amongst some rather stunning scenery. It may not be your cup of tea. However, I do suggest you at least check out the demo upon launch. It will be released for the PlayStation 4, PC and Ios.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor

The next expansion pack for the most popular MMORPG of all time is just around the corner. If you are interested in the Warcraft universe, then this expansion pack is going to take you back into the past. If you played the Burning Crusade then it will basically be Outland, just a little bit lusher. Everybody that purchases this game will get a free level 90 as part of the catch up system.

Fable Legends

The final game I wish to mention on this list is Fable Legends. It is most likely going to be launched this year on the Xbox One. It is slightly different to the previous format though. It is an online game which teams you up with three other people to progress through the story. If you have no friends though, you can also team up with the AI.
